Under his company formed in 2014, Gary now coach’s small business owners and executives, and works alongside them, to help them prioritize and achieve their growth goals. In 2017, Gary released his first book, The Growth CubeTM, (www.thegrowthcube.com) which outlines his formula for business success and the process he uses in his coaching: ‘a 6-dimensional strategy and execution process that will unlock the growth potential of your business – and you as a leader’!
In 2015, Gary founded and launched a new healthcare IT startup called Med-Compliance IQ (www.medcomplianceiq.com). Partnering with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Gary and his team have successfully developed their first product and have landed their first customer. The product, WoundWise IQ, includes a mobile app., proprietary algorithms, and image analytics that helps identify wound healing trends. This product can improve and save lives for millions of people who suffer from chronic wounds.
In 2017, Gary launched a new startup designed to help early-stage startup CEO’s. Help Me Startup (www.helpmestartup.co) is an online tool that startup CEO’s can utilize to help them move forward from the very first moment they have an idea, through the steps to get the new company successfully launched. The Help Me Startup website has a proprietary scorecard that provides a score to the CEO as to the validity of their new idea, and provides suggestions for low-scoring areas. Gary also provides coaching to his clients at Help Me Startup.
Gary graduated with honors from Kent State University with a degree in Mathematics, and achieved his MBA from The Ohio State University with a focus on International Business. In addition to completing a 2-year relocation assignment in Europe, Gary has successfully planned and implemented 15 acquisitions, integrations, and exits – in the U.S. and abroad – and has received an international business alumni recognition award from The Ohio State University.
Gary is a transformational leader who analyzes associate skills, builds on their strengths and inspires improved individual and team performance. He utilizes multi-cultural experiences to create an open environment that unlocks creativity, and he believes his role as CEO is to be the organization spark plug. Gary is actively involved on boards and in leadership roles within the industry and the community, and serves as mentor and coach to executives, students, and friends.
In 2017, Gary will have run 10 marathons in the past 8 years and is one of the leading fundraisers for the Children’s Champion program at Children’s hospital, dedicating his race each year to children fighting cancer.
Gary speaks to groups about ‘How to overcome major life challenges’ to inspire them and give them hope (Romans 5:3-5). He believes that if you have passion, faith, and a drive to service others, anything is possible!
